Wait! Stop! Don't go away without reading my profile! I've been looking for a new home for some time now, and not a lot of people call to ask about me. Is it because I don't like cats? Come on, I know there are some people out there who feel the same way about cats that I do. Is it that my listing says no small children? There must be a nice, responsible family with no kids (or older kids), that is looking for a fun doggie friend. I love people and am a big snuggle-bug, and also love playing with other dogs...if you're looking for a playmate for your current dog, please consider me. An experienced owner would be best who could do a good job of socializing me and going to obedience training with me. A few particulars... I'm about 3 years old, weigh about 40 lbs., and am of mixed heritage (possibly beagle/terrier). I'm a medium-small sized dog (you should see what a tight ball I can curl into when I'm sleeping)... As you might expect from a dog my age I've got plenty of energy to play, but also like to just chill out when you're in a low-key mood. I'd love to have a fenced in yard where I could run free, but I really love going for a walk every day, too. Everyone talks about how smart I am...I know sit, stay, lie down, shake, wait and touch. Pretty good, huh? I'm totally house-trained and good in the house while you're gone. I'm neutered, up-to-date on all shots, heartworm tested negative, and on monthly heartworm preventative..
